Hueco Rock Rodeo Video!
I’ve finally completed my Hueco Rock Rodeo video for 2012. It is my first video while editing with sound, multiple problems, and a real video editor. I used to use Window Movie Maker, but I’m now using Adobe Premiere Pro, so this first video was a struggle to say the least. Let me know what you guys think, you can comment on this post, or on the youtube video as well! Enjoy. This video took me many rest days hours to put together. It’s no Hollywood production and I welcome positive criticism.Trackback from your site.

Those shoes are pythons? Why not solutions?
Anyway, good video. Nagual looks great (and easy :P).

Dude you a beast, nice work. The footage in nice quality, it would be nice to have some close ups to get a better feel for the holds, but still a good inspiring flick.
Well Done

We can’t see this video in Germany :
” Malheureusement, ce contenu musical UMG est indisponible en Allemagne, car la GEMA n’a pas accordé les droits de publication musicaux correspondants.
Opération impossible
”
that’s why it is better to use Vimeo.
Cheers.

Thanks for the info.
I dislike Vimeo, because you can’t advance the movie until everything before if streams. Many people who just want to see Nagual flash would have to wait for the rest of the film to stream where as on YouTube you can advance the films.
It’s not such a problem with short movies, but 10 minutes is getting up there.
Edit: As per the comment below, if you have Proxytube, you can watch any of the movies!

First of all, congrats for the sends, flashing Nagual is just insane… like the fact that you can have a complete view of the problems, it gives you a sheer size of the beasts but I don’t feel like the music is really in phase with the climbing… not that I don’t like the music by itself, I’m just saying it doesn’t click for me with the vid… but one more time, congrats and thanks again for sharing this with us…

thanks for the feedback. Honestly, the music was the last thing to go in and I had struggled for so many hours with the rest of it, I really wanted to get it rendered and finished. The only song I had prepared was the last song (tetris remix), which I tried to queue up for the Nagual flash.

I saw some of LT11’s videos of you at the Rock Rodeo, but this is awesome! Thanks for taking the time to record and edit all this footage for us! One thing I’ve noticed watching your videos is that you make everything look really easy. Your climbing style is very controlled and graceful. This video is a perfect example. Killer climbing man – can’t believe you almost flashed Flamingnon. I wish I could climb half as good as you 🙂
As for the music, gonna have to agree with some of the other posters here – it didn’t really fit the video at first. But the edits and footage were great!
What are those Mammut pants I see you climb in all the time? I am looking for some good, not too baggy, light-weight climbing pants and those look perfect. I always have trouble finding good pants, especially for climbing…
Keep the videos coming!

Unfortunately this video took me a long time, and by the end, I was so tired with it, I just grabbed some music off my computer and rendered it. The only track that I picked specifically for it was the last one, and I tried to sync it up as best I could.
The pants I was wearing were the Rock Pants, they’re my favourite, draw string at the ankle, not too tight, and they look good!
I’m glad you liked it, I might have a couple more similar videos coming in the next few weeks as well!

Awesome man! Thanks for the recommendation and looking forward to the next videos!
Off topic, but do you have any plans to travel to Spain in the near future? Looks like a ton of climbers are crushing some hard sport lines over there lately. Is Spain in your future plans at all?
