Presenting at the VIMFFI know my posts have been back logged for a long time, and to be honest, I just have more time to blog during the summer when I don’t have 8 hours of school everyday. That being said, I love to blog and I like feedback as well as to how to make my blogs even better. I usually get good feedback, but I encourage positive criticism as well. I would not appreciate just “you suck a blogging”, maybe “I would suggest this…” as an alternative. Well that being said, the header is “Presenting at the VIMFF”, and this is true. The VIMFF (Vancouver International Moutain Film Festival) is going to be in Vancouver from February 11th – 19th I believe. I will be presenting on the last day (19th). My presentation will be based on my last summer in Europe. I got to compete in a bunch of competitions and I’ll be showing mostly pictures from competitions. Because I’m living out of my awesome car in Europe, I don’t get a lot of chance to take pictures. So that pretty much means that I don’t have a lot of pictures of me climbing outdoors. I’m trying to work on that, and this summer I guarantee I will have more pictures of me climbing outside. Also presenting at the VIMFF, I believe is my good friend Will Stanhope and Sonnie Trotter? I’m unsure on whether or not Sonnie is presenting. At the end of my slideshow will be I guess my “feature”. It’s a video of my on PuntX(5.14d) which I redpointed this past summer in France. This route is amazing, and back in 20008, when I went to Europe with JJ Mah and Marshal German, I actually tweaked out my finger on the hard mono crux move at the top. I came back with redemption and took this beast down. So that’s all for now, I’m presenting at the VIMFF and a link can be found HERE. So come on out and watch all the fantastic videos, hopefully see you there.
